Details & Schedule
• Season runs May 30, 2014 thru September 26, 2014 (16 weeks, excludes holidays)
• $15 per bowler per week (includes 3 games and shoe rental if needed)
• Top three team places (includes handicap) win $300 (1st), $150 (2nd) and $50 (3rd).
• Friday Nights, 8pm
• 3-player teams (team rosters must be submitted via email by May 12th)
• 90% Handicap League (see explanation below)
• Trophies for Winning teams (1st, 2nd & 3rd), High Scratch Series, High Scratch Game, High Scratch Average (1st, 2nd & 3rd) and Handicaps High Series, High Game, High Average (1st, 2nd & 3rd)
• No games May 23rd, July 4th or August 29th for holiday weekends.
Handicap
This is a 90% handicap league based on a high average of 200. To determine your handicap, subtract your average from 200 to get your handicap base. Multiply that number by .90 and add to your average. For example, if your average is 150, subtract 150 from 200 (200-150) to get 50. Multiply 50x.90 and get 45. Add 45 to your average of 150 and your handicap average is 195. This makes you more competitive against the highest average bowlers in the league. Bowlers whose average is above 200 do not get a handicap.
Pre-Bowling
If a player cannot make it on a Friday night, he/she may make arrangements to pre-bowl for that week’s game. The alley will provide two lanes with a score sheet. Scores applies towards the league night that is missed. Players are required to make these arrangements directly with the alley.
Absentees and Substitutions
Substitutions are permitted in the league. A substitute must be approved by league directors via email no later than 5pm on bowling night. League players are responsible for the payment for the week(s) missed. Substitutes may pay the League Directors when subbing and then later be reimbursed by the bowler who misses the games that evening)

If a bowler is absent and does not arrange for a substitute, he/she will be given an automatic score of their average minus 10 pins (plus the standard 90% handicap).
Rules
• Fowls count as gutter balls. The frame should be reset and the player then proceeds to their 2nd approach.
• If a bowler bowls out of turn, the score will not count for that particular turn. The frame should be reset and done properly by the bowler who is up.
