Beginning February 13, 2015, Jersey Out Bowling will be “bowling over the rainbow” every Friday night at Brunswick Zone Carolier! No need to register. Just send us an email to let us know you’re coming and we’ll save an alley for you! Email: jerseyoutbowling at gmail.com.

Bowlers may play together with friends or as an individual to make some new friends. All statistics and scores will be individual. Individual bowlers will be placed together in groups of three bowlers per lane. At the end of the season, awards will be presented based on individual scores, series and points.

The league runs from February 13 through May 15, 2015. Each week, a bowler will bowl three (3) games. Each bowler’s final scratch scores are recorded. These will be also tracked on the league’s website.

POINTS & SCORING
There will be two scoring factors this season: points and score. Players will accumulate points based on their scratch bowling score. If a player bowls a 150 scratch game, 150 points are added to his/her total that week. Score points are only taken from scratch scores. Players can earn points every week, but only once per week per task. Players will also earn points by performing certain “Weekly Challenges” (such as Make a $25 Donation to charity, Wear an Ugly Sweater on Ugly Sweater Night, etc.)  These challenges will be emailed out to the mailing list every week.

BONUS BOWLING POINTS
As the spring flowers start to bloom, we will continue to make this season more colorful too. Each lane will have three colored pins: one PINK, one GREEN, one ORANGE. If the colored pins are set in positions 1, 2 and/or 3, and the bowler scores a strike, the bowler wins prizes.

Prizes and coupons are based on a strike with the following pin arrangements:

WINNING A PRIZE
When the pins are arranged in a potential prize formation, the other bowlers on the lane will act as witnesses and they will record the winning of any prizes on the score sheet. Record the prizes in the prize sheets provided. Cash prizes will be applied the next week.

Season-end Awards will be presented as follows:
Highest Total Pin Points Earned – $100 cash
Highest Number of Points Earned (without pins) – $50 cash
Highest Scratch Single Game Score – $50 cash
Highest Scratch Series – $100 cash
Most Valuable Bowler (1^st Place) – $50 cash
Most Improved Bowler (1^st Place)- $50 cash
(Bowlers may only win one cash prize. If the same bowler holds both records, that bowler claims the higher cash prize. The next highest bowler will receive the next prize.)

QUALIFICATION
To be eligible to win trophies or cash prizes at the end of the season, bowlers must attend and participate in more than 60% of the league games during the season (February 13^th to May 15^th).
